Our Regulator

Brightstar Law is an England & Wales law firm authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Our SRA I.D. is 8013389.

Brightstar People is our People Services trading style, incorporating the work carried out by our HR Consultants and People Team. This work is NOT regulated by the SRA and is not normally supervised by an SRA authorised individual unless you are told otherwise. Our Terms and Conditions set out how Brightstar Law and Brightstar People will work with you. However, the key points are:

  • Brightstar People work will not be regulated by the SRA unless you are told otherwise;
  • while the work is not SRA regulated, you will have the right to complain under our Complaints Procedure as well as to the Legal Ombudsman as set out below;
  • the work may not be covered by legal professional privilege; and
  • the work will be covered by the Firm's professional indemnity insurance as detailed above.
